You just knew I couldn’t devote one single comic strip to Watchmen. So making a natural thematic progression from #39 here’s some more blue wang action for you – inspired by a very memorable moment from both the film and the graphic novel.
Although, to be honest (and I’ve discussed this with a geeky girlfriend), it’s seriously doubtful that Laurie (AKA Silk Spectre II) is really upset by Dr Manhattan’s odd attempt at a threesome. A bit freaked out perhaps, but not angry. Given time she probably would have come around, and embraced the act.
What triggers her fury is the discovery that Dr Manhattan’s third portion is actually working while they’re having sex. Which proves that Manhattan is still more of a human male than he thinks he is. Especially since he can’t seem to see what the problem is…
Guys, the number one relationship rule is that when you’re with your woman, make sure you’re giving her your 100% undivided attention! And in Doctor Manhattan’s case, that means literally undivided.
