Not only did this Girlz ‘N’ games comic introduce the reoccurring supporting character of the mute Ex-Bok, but it’s also the first strip to rely predominantly on language – more specifically a pun – for its punchline.
The only downside of this strip that I can think of is that people who don’t live in rugby playing countries might not know who the Springboks are – and therefore lose out on a great deal of the strip’s meaning.
